The black-1728 snap-off blade from LUTZ BLADES is manufactured from high-quality carbon steel and stands out with its striking black color. It features a special sharpening angle for sharp and clean cuts; thanks to its increased stability, blade breakage is minimized. The blade is coated with Titanium Nitride (TiN), providing high wear resistance. Typically seen in a gold color, this coating has a friction coefficient of approximately 0.4–0.7 compared to reference steel and supports safe usage up to approximately 300°C.
It is commonly used in professional drywall workshops for carpet and foil cutting, as well as cable stripping operations. It features a length of 80.00 mm, a width of 9.10 mm, and a thickness of 0.40 mm. It has a rectangular form and includes snap-off segments. It can be customized according to specific customer requirements.
