TiN-Coated Black Foil Blade – 1533
3-Hole Blades
The TiN-coated black foil blade – 1533 from LUTZ BLADES is manufactured from carbon steel and stands out due to its distinctive black appearance. The blade is coated with titanium nitride (TiN), a standard hard coating material known for its high wear resistance. Although typically gold-colored, this coating exhibits a relatively high coefficient of friction in the range of approximately 0.4–0.7 when compared to the steel reference material. The coating enables safe operation at temperatures of up to approximately 300 °C. Optimized for precise film cutting applications, the blade features a length of 43.00 mm, a width of 22.20 mm and a thickness of 0.20 mm, offering an ideal balance between shape and stability. The blade is also available in other thicknesses, and as a 3-hole blade, it can be individually adapted to specific customer requirements.
