The foil blade – 0400 from LUTZ is manufactured from stainless steel or carbon steel. The blade is coated with titanium nitride (TiN), a hard coating material known for its high wear resistance. This coating, typically gold-colored, exhibits a relatively high coefficient of friction in the range of approximately 0.4 to 0.7 when compared to the steel reference material.

The coating enables safe operation at temperatures of up to approximately 300 °C. With a length of 43.00 mm, a width of 22.20 mm and a thickness of 0.20 mm, this blade is an ideal solution for foil cutting in industrial environments. It is a 3-hole blade with rounded edges and continues to meet individual customer requirements.
